circa 1880, black powder proof, with blued 6in. barrel, ramp and blade fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, the rear-mounted release-catch allowing the barrel to tilt down, simultaneously drawing the fluted cylinder forwards, side loading gate (some pitting to edge of gate), chequered walnut grip and lanyard ring at heel, the whole retaining much apparently original blued finish
